对于招聘面试问题,尤其是最后的manager面试这关,网上有太多的参考意见,但都很泛很浅,没有抓住重点。我从个人经验出发,参考《First, Break All The Rules》和余世维关于人才经营的讲座,列出个人认为比较关键的一些要点,以供参考。(公司内习惯了用英文写,如果你能顺利理解并用英文回答,那进外企也就没问题了:-))
All of the followings are target to managers who act as interviewer.
[Purpose of interview]
Find the talent who has passion and ability on software development.
[Key questions]
1. What do you think about this company? Why do you want to join this company?
2. What made you leave your current/previous company?
3. What impressed you most in your previous working experience? Why? Or: What was the most tough challenge in your previous working experience? What did you learn from it?
4. Please give me an example of how you handle the arguments between you and your colleagues.
5. Please give me an example of how you learn new technology quickly? Or: Please give me an example of how you resolve an issue quickly?
6. If boss ask you OT during holiday, but you just plan some personal stuffs, what will you do? If boss give you a heavy task normally can’t be finished on time, what will you do?
7. If customers raise more requirements to project (suppose you are the project manager) near the end of project life cycle, what will you do?
8. If you are assigned some tasks you are not interested, what will you do?
9. What makes you feel the most satisfaction during software development? Or: What makes you full of energy to do software development?
10. What’s the job focus you like best at present – software development, software testing, process and quality control, or project management?
11. Do you have career plan? What is it?
12. What’s your strength and weakness you think? Or: How would your friends or colleagues describe you?

14. When can you be on board?
15. Are you able to travel when demanded?

1. More open questions, less close questions.
2. More listening, less talking.
3. Expect details from the first response
最关键的是,在对这些问题回答的过程中,manager们真正感兴趣的是应聘者在快速反射式回答中能说出具体事例和细节,而非顾左右而言他,或者空洞而泛泛,或者被追问多次才给出事例。当然每个manager考察的要点会根据具体职位有所不同,但是找到一个对该工作充满激情的天才,是每个manager的梦想。
